Besides new hardware coming from HTC and Nokia, Windows Phone has been kind of stagnant in the new lately, but things may be heating up very soon based on a report over on Mi Móvile Windows, Microsoft and carriers may be readying the ‘Tango’ update for Windows Phone this June.

The Tango update is believed to be a small update aimed at bringing Windows Phone down to a lower price point and emerging markets. Microsoft has yet to speak officially about a release date for the update, but based on two, unnamed sources of Mi Móvile Windows, the build (8773) is just over a month away. It will be interesting to see if the Tango rollout goes as smoothly and a swiftly as did the larger, more important Mango update did last year.
