With Outlook 2013, it's easier than ever to connect to your personal
email accounts that support the rich capabilities of Exchange Active
Sync – including your new @outlook.com email address. No longer do you
need the Outlook Connector (OLC) add-in to do this.
Outlook 2013 uses newly-added support for the rich Exchange Active Sync (EAS) protocol that has become the gold standard used by smartphones and other mobile devices. EAS will sync mail, calendar, contacts and tasks from your Outlook.com account! We've heard many requests from users who want to sync their tasks from an Outlook.com account, and now you can.
It's very easy to set up. In just a few minutes you'll have the full power of the Outlook app for your personal Oulook.com email.
